1. About BottleVault

BottleVault is a digital cataloging tool for beverage collectors. It lets you record bottles, map cellars, share with friends and optionally list rarities for sale on the marketplace. By creating an account or signing in you agree to these Terms.

2. Best-effort service

We operate BottleVault on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that your data will remain accessible. The service may be slow, partially broken, or unavailable at any time without notice.

3. No warranty on your data

You are responsible for your own backups. BottleVault provides CSV / JSON export tools — use them regularly to keep an off-platform copy of your inventory. We are not responsible for any loss of bottles, photos, floor plans, activity history, or any other data you have uploaded.

4. We may shut down

We may decide to discontinue the platform at any time, for any reason. If that happens the service may simply be turned off and all data may be permanently lost. You will not be entitled to any refund, compensation, or migration assistance.

5. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• You will not upload illegal content or content you do not have the right to share.
• You will not use BottleVault to facilitate sales that breach local alcohol regulations.
• You will keep your sign-in credentials secret.

6. Marketplace

BottleVault offers a basic marketplace for collectors to publish rarities for sale. We are not a party to any transaction. We do not handle payments, shipping, tax, customs, or escrow. Any transaction is strictly between buyer and seller.

7. Account suspension

Platform administrators may disable, restrict, or delete any account that misuses the service, at their sole discretion.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of BottleVault constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
